코로나가 끝나면 제일 먼저 무엇을 하고 싶으세요? 저는 바로 여행일 것 같아요. 그것도 무언가 의미가 있는 자연 또는 역사여행을 하고 싶습니다. 저의 아들에게 기회가 된다면 어렸을 때 많은 자연과 역사를 보여주고 싶은 바람이 있습니다. 그래서 영자신문에 여행에 대한 정보가 나올 때마다 그 정보를 모으고. 기회가 된다면 방문하려고 합니다. 

What would you like to do after corovavirus disappear? In my case it would be a traveling. I want meaningful nature or historic tours. I hope i can show many to my son when he is young if there is any chance. So whenever there is any news about traveling i collect it, i will visit in the future.

 

엄청난 집단(a massive cluster)코로나의 진원지(epicenter)였던 경상북도 대구 지역은 깊은 역사의 장소이기도 한데요. 저의 친척 이모가 대구에 사셔서 어린 시절 방학 때 우등버스 또는 기차를 타고 갔던 기억이 있어요. 팔달시장이 매우 컸던 기억이 있고 이모는 저희 오빠와 저를 시장 구경을 많이 시켜주셨어요. 그 이후에는 갈 기회가 없었고 최근 4년 전쯤 일 때문에 갔던 대구는 완전히 다른 곳이 되어있어 깜짝 놀랐답니다. 젊은이들의 거리 동성로, 앞산공원, 곳곳에 역사투어를 할 수 있는 곳들이 많았고요. 박물관도 너무 인상 깊었답니다. 같이 갔던 외국인들도 다시 꼭 오고 싶다고 말하셨고요. 모두 걸어서 워킹투어를 했는데 너무 즐거웠던 기억이 있습니다. 그리고 배가 고파 시장에서 씨앗호떡을 먹었는데 너무 맛있더라고요. 

Daegu that was a massive cluster of coronavirus epicenter has also deep historic meaning. My anut lives there so we visited daegu when we had vacations by express buses or trains. Paldal market was big and she took us to other markets too. I didn't have any chance to go there since then. Recently four years ago, i went there for working and very surprised to see big changes. Dongseongro street for young peope, apsan park, many historical places at the corner. It was very impressive to visit museums too. My clinet told me that this place is so nice to visit and want to come back again. We had a walking tour. And ate hottoek at the traditional market. It was so delicious.

 

코로나가 장기화되면서(persists) 사람들은 작은 즐거움을 찾기 시작했습니다. 너무 유명하지 않은곳 또는 덜 방문하던 지역(the places that were out of bounds)을 찾게 되는데요. 대구는 기사에 따르면 100년을 거슬러 가는 곳입니다. 북성로라는 거리는 대구역에서 달성공원까지로 가장 혼잡한 곳이라고 해요. 일본 강점기 기간에 그 거리의 양쪽에는 일본인들에 의해 운영되는 가게, 양복점, 곡물가게, 철물점 (hard ware store)가 많았다고 합니다. 광복 후에는 예술가들이 문화교류를 위해 이곳으로 몰려들었고 카페, 음악감상실에서 글을 쓰고, 그림을 그리고, 음악을 연주했다고 해요. 이러한 강점을 살려서 투어를 진행한다면 좋을 듯합니다. 

As coronavirus persists, people are looking for small pleasures. The places that were out of bounds. According to this article, daegu is a place dates back to 100 years ago. Bukseongro street were full of shops, tailor shops, hardware stores operated by japanese. After korea independence in 1945, many atists fled to here to share cultural exchange and they write, paint and play instruments in cafe and music room. I think We can make ideas to create new itenerary for tours like this concept.
