announced minister of unification on thursday.

 

 

panmunjomm , the site of the armistice

 

agreement to end the 1950-53 korean war, will likely be

 

opened to a small number of tourists from june.

 

 

the tours to panmunjom and nearby landmarks in the

 

western section of the dmz had been suspended since

 

october last year due to the spread of african swine fever

 

among wild pigs in border areas. the coronavirus outbreak

 

further halted any tourism in the area this year.

 

 

kim jeong-un visited the dmz wednesday and inspected tour sites in

 

the area just days after the two korean exchanged gunfire 

 

at the boder on sunday he said, the incident did not

 

reflect any danger to tourists going to panmunjom, as the

 

incident took place in a central section of the dmz at cherwon, gangwon.

 

 

north korea is unlikely to raise tensions at panmunjom,

 

which was also the site of the first inter- korean summit in 2018.

 

as the truce village is traditionally an important

 

tourism resource for pyoungyang as well.

 

 

the minister went on to address the recent media rumor

 

surrounding the health of north korean leader kim jong-un,

 

who reemerged in public ealier this month after almost three weeks out of public eye.

1.Dmz is a strip of land running across the korea peninsula, with 250 kilometres long and about 4 kilometres wide.

it is established by the provisions of the korean armistice agreement to serve as a buffer zone since 27 july 1953.

this has been the place of many events and incidents since its establishment in 1953 like the

after armistice agreement  in 27 july 1953, unfortunately korea divided into two states.

본문의 내용은 판문점의 휴전마을 관광을 시작으로, 통일부가 코로나 바이러스 여파로 얼어붙었던

비무장지대 관광을 다음 달에 재개할 것이라고 발표한 것이다.

 

한국전쟁을 끝내는 정전협정에 사인을 했던 장소인 판문점을 다음날 6월부터 소규모의 관광객에게 아마도 개방할 것이다.

 

판문점과 비무장지대 서쪽 구역에 있는 근처 역사적 건물들의 관광이 지난 10월부터 국경지역에서 돼지독감이 퍼지면서 중단이 되어왔다. 거기에 코로나 바이러스 발생이 올해 그 지역의 관광을 더욱 중단시켰다.

 

북한의 김정은은 수요일 비무장지대를 방문해서 관광지역을 둘러보았다.

이것은 지난 일요일에 두 한국이 국경지역에서 총격전이 벌어지고 바로 며칠 이후였다.

목요일에 김정은은 그 사건이 판문점에 가는 어떤 관광객들에게 위험을 나타내지 않는다고 말했다.

그 사건이 강원도 철원에 있는 비무장지대의 중심지역에서 발생했기 때문이다라고 말했다.

 

북한은 판문점에 긴장을 올릴 가능성이 없어 보인다.

이곳은 또한 2018년도에 한국 간 첫 정상회담을 했던 장소이기도 하고 ,

휴전마을은 전통적으로 평양에게 또한 관광자원으로써 중요한 곳이기 때문이다.

 

통일부는 최근 언론에 북한 김 위원장이 아프다는 아우성에  대해 이어서 언급했다.

김정은은 거의 3주 동안 공식석상에 보이지 않다가 이달 초에 모습을 보였다.

1. 1953년 7월 27일 비무장 지대 (dmz) 설치 - 완충지대로서 남북으로 각각 2km씩 4km의 폭, 길이는 250km를 갖는다

 이 지역에서는 군대 주둔, 무기 배치, 군사시설이 금지된다.

 그리고 철저히 허가 없이는 출입할 수 없다. 그 이유로 희귀 동물들의 주요 서식지가 되었다.

  요새 필리핀 사람들에게 엄청나게 인기 있는 "사랑의 불시착"이 지역을 배경으로 한다.

 

2. 판문점(공동경비구역 jsa)에서 1953년 7월 27일 날 한국전쟁을 중단하는 휴전협정에 서명하였다.

 영화 공동경비구역 jsa를 보면 선글라스를 쓴 양측의 군인들이 서로 마주 보고 있는 곳이다.

 이 협정으로 6 ,25 전쟁이 일어난 지 3년 1개월 2일 만에 휴전되었다.

 양측에 억류되어있는 포로 송환 결정

 

3. 한국전쟁- 1950년 6월 25일 새벽 북한군이 군사 분계선이었던 38선 전역에 걸쳐 기습적으로 남침함으로써 

 일어난 한국에서의 전쟁이다. 1953년 7월 27일 휴전이 서명될 때까지 만 3년 1개월 간 지속되었다.
